August / September 2008 Exciting Events Special Baptismal Service Sunday September 14th 10:30 am At the end of our Morning Praise Celebration we will be having a special Baptism. If you are a candidate for this very meaningful eveny, please call the church office or sign up at the Good News Table. MARK YOUR CALENDARS !!! Lee by Request Sunday Night September 14th 5:00PM We will be celebrating Lee and Donna's 20th Anniversary with our church family. We have a big celebration in the works with food, fellowship and YES, "MUSIC"! HELP by writing down a favorite song that Lee sings that you'd like to hear that night. Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit Pastor Lee is uncovering the true lessons written in the book of Romans. It is amazing ! ! ! Tea Time Ladies Monday Sept 8th 12 Noon Menu: Night Owl Gals Tuesday Sept 9th 6 PM Menu: Calling All Of Our Youth ! ! ! Check out our kicked up Spirit led Youth Ministry Page. Mauricio & Martha Elisa Miralles will be teaching this class. We are all excited about being able to now reach out to the Latino folks in the Kansas City area! Fall 2008 Doris Bennett Hall Menu: OK Men.......its time to have some fun! Our Men's Prayer Breakfast is getting ready to kick off again! Remember NO EXCUSES, let's all make plans to attend and make our prayer breakfast the best ever in our Lord & Savior ! ! ! Do you need to be spiritually recharged during the week to keep you going until Sunday........well here's how to do it: Come join us at 6:30pm each and every Wednesday Night for Our PRAYER SERVICE. Note: All of you that would like to get involved with the WMU please let us know! Info on WMU. Peanut Butter Ministry Keep Those Jars of Peanut Butter Coming In! This is a great way to meet the needs of others by donating jars of peanut butter. Just drop off your peanut butter at the Church. Exciting News We now have Pastor Lee's sermons available on CD's and cassette's. If you would like more info please see Phyllis or Doug. Soon to come in the near future we will be setting up our church web site with Pastor Lee's sermons also which you will be able to listen to while connected to the Internet.
